The causes are almost certainly many and consistent. What seems inescapable is the conclusion that dropping out of school is one of the important factors related to the difficulties of people. The causes of dropping out reveal families in trouble. All too often, families with areas of high pressure are characterized by single parents, lack of parenting skills, and substance abuse. The most common causes of dropping out are money, family, and time management.

Money or lack of it is a reason to drop out of the school. Once you become a student, you will need money for tuition of the school. My rent is $1,000 per month for a three bedroom apartment. This monthly rent doesn't include the utilities, that is, the electric light, cooking gas, internet service which I used for homework and research. All these services are for separate from the rent every month. As for the clothes, here in New York, we have four different types of seasons .This contributes, to a change to different types of clothing. Car fare cost me biweekly $48.00 .This is for two unlimited metro cards so I could go the school every day, to my jobs, and to pick up my kids up from the day care with out spending extra money daily.

Family plays a big role in people dropping out of the school. As a single parent, I put my children's needs above my own. I give them my attention as a loving and caring parent. I also help my kids with their homework. My ex-husband dedicates 40 percent of his with his children's, He also contributes with the household expenses and his share of the housework. When the time comes for any special occasion such as birthdays for any of my family member, I need to be there as part of the family tradition. I need to spend time with the relatives that I have not seen in few years. Weddings in my family are not so often; once my relatives marry, it is for ever. Funerals are the hardest part. For me, it is very hard to attend funerals. This is the only time my family really understands that I could not be at the

funeral. I don't like to say goodbye to anybody that has shared a lot time with me. These are some of the occasions when I cannot be in school.

Time management is important so that a person can do all the things he or she is supposed to do. The time management helps me to use my time effectively. Before I go sleep I make sure my clothes, and my kids' clothes are ironed for the next day. I fix every schoolbags and organize the house. So, I don't have to be in rush in the morning. Once I have everything done the night before, it gives time for the next day. I wake up at 6:00 a.m. every morning, fix the breakfast, review my kids' homework, read the newspaper, and watch the news with my kids. I leave my home at 8:00 every morning, leave the kids in the schools, and walk down to the train station.

With all these reasons, I had to drop out of the university for few years. Now I am back in college. I would not let anything affect me once again to the point of dropping out. If I start from the last step which is time management .I share the kids with they father skipping days so I would have time for studies. I have switched my job in the night time, so I would have time to spend with my kids. I plan carefully. After I have my associate's degree in accounting I will reap the benefits for my family financially.

Why do students drop out of school? (cause-effect essay)

Do you know why students drop out of school? Nowdays students usually drop out of school, to get a career. More than before job seekers are looking for people who have finished high school (at least). The fact that students drop out of school is caused for different reasons. There are three main causes why students drop out of school: they can't afford tuition, they prefer to work, and they fail the course.

One reason which students decide to drop out of school is because they don't have enough money to afford it. There are a lot of families that can't pay a college tuition even since high school, these families earn the minimum salary. In other circumstances are only able to pay college for one member of the family. Public universities are the cheapest universities, but not all students have a chance to get into the university, thus they cannot study.

When students get a good job, they prefer to attend their job, and for this reason they drop out of school. Usually they get a job while they are studying too. After a while, they find out that they prefer working instead of studying. It is difficult for them to leave their job because they need money. Sometimes they find out that they will have a better future by working than studying.

Another reason why students don't finish highschool is because they fail the course. Sometimes students have problems with some subjects, especially. Mathematics and English, so they fail the subject and as a consequence the whole course. They have the oportunity of taking the course again, but they prefer not to do it. I think students who don't want to study. As a result, they prefer working in easy jobs where they don't need to think.

Finally, students usually drop out of school for three main reasons: money, a good job, and academic failure. There are more cause but these are the most common in Mexico.
